JAMES BIANCO
MUSIC EDITORIAL FOR FILM AND TELEVISION
James Bianco is a Los Angeles–based music editor for feature film and television, with credits across major streaming features, network dramas, and long-running series. His recent work includes Carry On (Netflix) with composer Lorne Balfe, The Performance, and ongoing editorial work on Days of Our Lives.
James began his musical journey as a guitarist in rock bands before discovering a passion for recording and production. He learned the art of engineering from his father, the late Grammy Award–winning producer Dave Bianco, at their family studio
Dave's Room. There he developed a meticulous ear for tone, rhythm, and emotional nuance; skills that would later shape his approach to storytelling through sound.
After years in the studio, James transitioned into the world of film and television music. Working for over a decade alongside Mark Wike at Wike Music, he honed both the creative and technical sides of music supervision and editing. This hybrid background allows him to bridge artistic vision with precision and workflow, helping composers, directors, and post teams translate musical ideas seamlessly to screen.
